3^rd Rock from the Sun

From the ends of the universe to the centre of our Earth everything has a connection.

To understand our special planet we need to also understand more about the universe. In this workshop we will investigate and discover things about the universe, our solar system and our own planet. We will be doing a range of activities about space, the solar system and the formation and geology of the 3rd rock from the Sun - Planet Earth.

Pirateology

The life of a pirate was both exciting and dangerous. This workshop will investigate the life of the pirates and look at some of the important skills and knowledge a pirate might have needed. Activities will include: creating your own pirate identity, your ships flag, finding treasure using mapping skills and creating your very own treasure map.  We will track the route of pirate voyages and the early history of international trade.

SPYCRAFT

The world of codes, disguises, clues and problem solving.

The life of the spy sounds mysterious and exciting.  But as well as being adventurous, a spy needs to have many skills and tools of trade.

This workshop will use games, activities and crafts to make and learn these tools and skills. You will have plenty of opportunity to use your imagination, observation, problem solving and creative skills.
